I cannot say how often I hear, "I just don't know what to do with this room...how do I make it feel like home?". I believe that design services should be available in a format that works for those just needing guidance without a large price tag (the focus should be on buying fun furniture and accessories!). So I've created a set of four packages for those who just need a little help but want to manage the project themselves!
But how does it work?
First, we'll discuss your overall goals are for the space and the problems you are experiencing with your current design.
Next, you'll fill out a questionnaire that helps me to know what pieces you will be keeping, the size of the space, a preferred color scheme, preferred design styles, your furniture budget, and how you use the space from morning until evening. My design goal is always centered on functionality equaling beauty. The space should not only be beautiful but livable and a boost to your daily functions.
I'll create two mood boards with differing designs based on the feedback from the questionnaire. Each board will contain 5-10 pieces that will highlight the features of each design. You will then select which design you prefer.
4. I will flush the mood board out into a full concept board and floor plan. The concept board will show the full range of the furniture and accessories to be purchased for the space and will highlight how they compliment each other. The floor plan is displayed in 2D as well as some 3D imaging to help you see how the space will flow. It will include details on how the furniture, textiles, and accessories will need to be arranged in the space to complete your vision. You will also receive a full list of what to purchase. It is recommended you purchase soon as there is not a guarantee that the product will continue to be available indefinitely.
5. The final step is one round of revisions on the concept board and floor plan if you have any changes you would like to make.
6. I will complete the requested changes and deliver the final product to you via email.
