While doing on my usual Homegoods hunts, I came across a large marble planter. I didn't have any immediate plans for it but I knew it was something I wanted to find a place for in my home!
I also found it online so you can order one as well! Click here.

Originally I thought perhaps it would find its home on my screened-in porch but after playing with it in my home, I realized it could be a versatile decor piece as a table centerpiece, kitchen island decor or an accent on my sideboards.
There are many different things I could fill the bowl with but I wanted something minimal with texture that could work spring through fall. I knew I could transform it with just two DIY materials: bubble wrap and moss sheets.
You can find moss online but I went to Hobby Lobby and found a package with just enough to cover the bowl and and during the half price sale, it's only $4.50! All you need is a 2 ounce package and be sure to get sheets instead of loose moss.

Here's the steps to create it yourself:
Find a planter you want to use.
Cut sheets of large bubble wrap and layer into the bowl until you get the height you would like. I brought the bubble wrap up to the rim and then added some smaller sheets to lay over any holes to make it even.
Lay out the moss sheets and try to overlap as little as possible. Some overlap is fine but the less, the better. You can cut the moss sheets into the shapes you would like.
Use hot glue to attach the moss to the bubble wrap where it is popping up. I chose not to hot glue all of the moss so that it can be re-used at a later point if I so wish.
AND THAT'S ALL! It's really that simple!
